What is the difference between % Complete vs. % Work Complete

What are the formulas for these two values? What are they indicating?
I am look at a task (fixed duration) Where the % complete is 75% but %
work complete is 100%. On 'tracking' the Gantt chart, I only show 75 %
even though the % work complete is at 100%.

Thanks for your time

% Complete = (Actual Duration\Duration) * 100

% Work Complete = (Actual Work \ Work) * 100

So basically % Complete is really % Duration Complete
