What is the icon in detailed list view in Tasks (Outlook)

In the task list in detail list view, I can't work out what the icon
represents. It seems to appear the same regardless of whether the task is
complete, incomplete, overdue. The icon I'm talking about looks like a
clipboard with a red tick on it. Does anyone know what it does?

If you Assign a Task to someone else it shows a hand passing the clipboard
away. If you are Assigned a Task by your boss, the Clipboard shows a hand
above and a hand below as if you are griping it with two hands.
