What's a Product ID?

Hi

Sorry if this is really dumb. But to get online support
you need to have the Product ID. Can anyone tell me how
to get it without installing the programme? I can't
install it, which is why I need the ID.

Obviously I have the product key, but it won't accept
that.

Why do you need online support if you do not have the product installed? Perhaps if you ask your question here, or in the appropriate Word newsgroup, someone can give you the answer without the need for you to install the product.

(2349) telling me to contact Support and the install
aborts.

Sort of a catch 22 as I can't install to get the product
ID, but I can't get support without it.
