What's the best program to combine Word, Visio & Excel documents?

If I wanted to create a manual, or book with a great number of Word, Excel
and Visio documents, what program(s) would allow me to do this and what would
be the best program to complete this job? What is the maximum size allowed
per document, in each program that would allow me to combine these 3 document
types?

I'd use Publisher but that's just because I believe that you should use a DTP

Fair point, but what if one has either Office Standard Edition or
Student/Teacher Edition, so no Publisher?

Then one probably doesn't have Visio either. But in that case, Word would be
my choice.
