Any help on this? I'm scanned, updated and even re-installed office
10. On reboot, i get a notice about a driver error.
Howdy,
Few know less about this sort of thing than I, but...
What Operating System are you running?
I ask because I recently had a similar problem (no, not
Outlook) and I was told that there was no way that the
software could re-boot the system.
'Turned out, they were right.
I use Win 2000 and there is a setting in Computer |
Properties | Advanced | Startup & Recovery Options that
tells the OS what to do in the event of System Failure. I
had mine set to (you guessed it) re-boot.
So, indeed, there may be reasons that Outlook is hanging
your system, but the re-booting may be caused by the hang
rather than by Outlook.
If you have such a setting, turn it off. That may increase
the likelihood that you will see a useful error message.
All the best,
