the drive with no improvement.

Do you have another system somewhere that you can test the CD on, to see if
it installs properly?

Why are you re-installing Office, by the way? Was it working at some point

Hi Susan

Both my XP and my Office 3000 CDroms insert and operate OK on a friends
computer. But on this PC they still initiate a crash/reboot
