You can use a Mail Merge for this. Set up a database/spreadsheet/text
file containing a list of numbers, then use the Mail and Catalog Merge
Wizard to guide you through the process of merging.
(N.B. If you are producing a large number of brochures, it is often
cheaper to have the document printed professionally or
photocopied/Risographed. If photocopying/Risographing, then you should
leave the area where the number will go blank, then you can run the
first page of each brochure through your desktop printer to add the
numbers. If you are using an outside printing service, consult with them
about how to handle this in your source files - they will typically use
a similar process to the one I described for photocopying.)
