When scrolling a document the text flickers as it move up or down.

When scrolling through documents or web pages the page flickers and scrolls
in waves instead of smoothly. This has only been happening since I got a new
hard drive and re-installed windows XP. How can I adjust?

This has nothing whatsoever to do with Office, so I've no idea why you're
posting here - it doesn't have anything to do with your mouse/mouse software
either - you need to download and install the latest driver for your
graphics card/chip.
