how can I see when was the project baselined?

If you are using Microsoft Project 2002 or 2003, simply click Tools -
Tracking - Save Baseline. The Baseline drop-down at the top of the dialog
will show you if and when the baseline was saved. Hope this helps.

(how's life "over east"?)
if you're using Project 2002 or 2003 the date is displayed next to the
baseline level under tools / tracking / save baseline. I'm not sure how you
can do it in earlier versions.
