Where are Office Data file icons?

I've just been reinstalling all my software after upgrading from Windows 2000
to XP Pro (upgrade failed and left the computer unable to boot up, so I had
to do a clean install). As far as Office is concerned this involves a minimal
installation of Windows 95 (full edition purchased) and an upgrade to Office
2000 (only upgrade purchased).

For some reason the icons for all types of Office Data files .pst, .rzw,
..fad, .ost, and a load of others have all been set to a default Windows
document icon. If I go from Explorer into Folder Options > File Types >
Advanced and try to Change Icon it gives an error message "Windows cannot
find the file misc.exe".

Where are the default icons for Office 2000 data files? Is there an easy way
to reset the default icons for these file types?

Grateful for any help.

Are you saying that you are using Office 95 as the base to Upgrading to Office 2000

There is no need to install any earlier adition, prior to upgrading. You
just need the early addition cd, so that you can point the upgrade to it
when it complains.
BTW dont understand why you need to install win95 "As far as Office is
concerned this involves a minimal
installation of Windows 95"

This is obviously a misunderstanding on my part. If you put the Office 2000
Upgrade CD into the virgin machine it says it can't find any previous
installation of office to upgrade, so I assumed from that that you had to
install the previous version of Office to be able to upgrade. My mistake. Re
my "minimal" installation: I only installed Word from Office 95 to save time,
since I knew it was going to be upgraded.

Does this have some impact on where the missing icons are?

By clean install of Winxp I assume this was a format / install?
I would initially try a repair of office2k using the installation cd, as it
would appear that the installation has failed/not completed
