Where can I get a program to work with Powerpoint ....

I am trying to find a program that I can use WITH a PowerPoint presentation I
am creating. I would like to be able to create a streaming video/flash/etc.
(not sure of the correct term) that can zoom in on a map. I am hoping to
come up with something LIKE what they use on the news to zoom in and make
images appear 3-D. This is probably something that may need to be customized
by someone else, but I do not even know where to start to look for something
like this.

If you have worked with any products like this, or can point me in the right
direction, I would really appreciate it.

You have several options:

Use Chirag's Zoom add-in: http://officeone.mvps.org/zoom/zoom.html
Use Flash to create the effect and link to it.
Create a VR version (Quicktime) and link to it.

Thank you for your response. I will try the Zoom add-in. But I am not sure
where to get Flash and VR version (i'll do a search and see what comes up).

Are there any websites where I can learn how to use these type of products?
