Where is active Word newsgroup?

It seems the Microsoft Word newsgroups I've looked at are not very active.

Can anybody tell me the which Word newsgroup I should use?

Hi, tmb,

There are a boatload of Word-specific newsgroups, such as
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.word.newusers,
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.word.conversions, and so on.
You can access them through a newsreader, or through something like Google
Groups (http://www.google.com/groups). Or, try

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/default.mspx

to find them in a different kind of web interface which allows you to post
suggestions, questions, etc. The Communities interface requires a passport
login to post, but you can read posts without that.

The groups available on the msnews.microsoft.com news server are usually
pretty active, so you may be seeing a cached version, or something from a
different server.
