which is better? office 2000 or office xp profesional?

i'm considering changing my version of office. i would like to know what
people think of the two versions.

Apologies for the first post..only half of the subject line showed..

Office XP Pro is apparently more reliable overall than Office 2000.. it is
said that apart from that, if you already have Office 2000, the upgrade is
maybe not worth it.. if you are upgrading or coming new to MS Office, Office
XP Pro is the best bet.. obviously, if you have Windows 2000 or XP, then
Office 2003 is best..

Beware places that offer really cheap versions of either.. some of the 'to
good to be true' offers are just that..

unless you have 3rd party apps that might beak with the "wrong" Office
version, it is usually best to get the most recent version for at least the
following reasons:

1. Likely includes bug fixes.
2. More up to date VBA means better compatibility with newer 3rd party apps.
3. MSFT support for newer versions will be around longer than for older
versions.
