Which version of MS Word is newer (better) XP or 2002??

It seems like Word XP only has a few fonts, where Word 2002 has way more? Is this correct?

Word 2002 is the version included in Office XP. (May the Microsoft
marketing troll who dreamed up that naming be consigned to a lower
circle of Hades...) I don't know what kind of installations you've
been looking at, but they are the same program. Maybe somebody didn't
install all the fonts that are available on the Office CD, or maybe
the fonts you saw came from some other program entirely. Look here for
the list:

In addition, bear in mind that whichever version of Word is installed, only
the fonts capable of being printed by the current printer driver will be
displayed - see http://www.gmayor.com/where_are_my_fonts.htm
