While printing Edwardian Script ITC, some letters are dropped.

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel The letter "o" is being dropped from the print. Looks fine on the screen and in print preview.

Is there a way to fix? Or do I just need to choose another font?

The first thing I'd suggest is that you make your way to the printer mfr's
web site to search for an updated driver. If the character renders on screen
but the printer refuses to produce it that's the most likely cause.

Thank you for your reply! I downloaded the latest driver, restarted the computer and printer. No luck.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

Try running Apple's Font Book app & use the routines for Resolve Duplicates
& Validate Fonts. Make sure you're using the latest version of the font if
you have more than one copy - delete any others.

You might also verify that you're using the highest quality setting for the
printer. See what happens if you print from another program using the same
font... It's quite unlikely that this has anything to do with Word. The data
is simply handed off to the OS which forwards it to the printer. The app
you're using has nothing to do with the actual printing process.
