Why can I not type anything or access commands?

I tried to edit an Excel document and couldn't edit or do anything. I tried
to type a Word document and couldn't. I tried accessing commands in Word
Help demo and couldn't; the message said I was unlicensed, but I am
licensed). I noticed someone else's e-mail address (my daughter's) in the
e-mail display which popped up when I accessed this Community group. What
happened? How do I fix it? Office 2007

All you need to do is to reactivate your installation of Microsoft Office
since some substantial changes on your PC's configuration may have triggered
this one. If you cannot activate through the internet please do a manual
(telephone-based) activation, the customer service representative will guide
you in activating your copy of Office.

Chester, you were right. I bought this Microsoft Office suite about a month
ago, with only MS Access on a 30-day trial basis. The Access will expire but
evidently all the other Microsoft programs should have reactivated
automatically and they didn't. So, I did reactive the Microsoft Office suite
and everything is working again. Thank you very much. (I still don't know
why my daughter's e-mail address popped up since she only used my computer to
access her hotmail.com e-mail.)

It's nice to hear that your Microsoft Office is now back and running! As for
your daughter's e-mail address sites such as Hotmail, Office Discussion
Groups use Windows Live ID as some form of authentication (logging in), so if
your daughter's e-mail address is saved in hotmail, most probably you'll see
her e-mail address on the login page that use Windows Live ID.
