Why can't I find the mail directory I set up?

I set up a mail directory and I find it in "tools" and "email options" but I
can't download mail from it!

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Confused asked:
