why can't I read word documents that I email into work, it transl.

when they arrive at work they are in symblos instead of words when I try to
convert to other font the symbols just change, help I have to do some work at
home?

Uncompressed documents sometimes corrupt in transit. Try zipping them and
posting the zip file.
