Why do my gray lines disappear around labels on the screen?

Microsoft Word - my gray lines around the lables disappear - the page is
blank. I can put grid lines on, but then the gridlines want to print and I
don't need them to print. I need the gray lines so we can see where we are
typing. Can anyone help?

Those grey lines are just so you can see where the labels are. If you want
something to print, you need to select the table and then choose your Border
options. ;-)

Click Table > Show Gridlines. The ones that print are borders, not gridlines
(at least in Word-speak). See
