Why do some attachments show are Quarantined Attachment?

Attachments I have that are not even 1 month old show as quarantined. Some
even come to me as quarantined and I cannot open them. Someone right beside
me emailed me 6/5 and they are now quarantined and I haven't even opened
them. Know why?
