Why do some VBA userforms created in 2003 not show up in 2007?

My VBA students are creating code and userforms in Office 2003. When I open
them to grade them (I am using Office 2007) some student's work shows up fine
and other student's work is just not there - no form, no code, nothing. I
cannot find a common thread amoung those student's whos work will not appear.

This newsgroup is for ACCESS software. Userforms usually are not used in
ACCESS; so is the problem in one of the other softwares?
