why does a word with a 't' act like a tab, and indent my text?

i have trouble constantly with this; i also get underlines sometimes when a
word has a 'u' in it. and etc.

Is there a setting or something I don't know about that causes this?

you are either holding the <Ctrl> key down, maybe instead of shift? or it is
stuck
