Why does clipart no longer download

I am no longer able to download clipart, and some of my existing clips now
have a yellow cross and I can not access them.
I find Windows xp clipart very confusing to use compared to Windows 2000. I
seem to have got it all in such a muddle,
how can I restore the default settings and start again?
I'm getting so frustrated with it all.

It sounds like your cache is full.

Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet Options - Delete Files.
