Why does Outlook keep crashing (Windows XP Home)?

I'm using Windows XP home version. Without fail every time I try and
download messages from Microsoft Outlook it crashes. Sometimes 3-4 times a
day. Anyone having the same problem? Can anyone suggest any help?
