Why does Project put the project name.published in resource usage.

I am having trouble with my resource usage sheet (RUS). The problem that I am
having is after publishing changes to the server, "the name of
project.published" is put into my RUS under each resource with an added
number of hours. This is a problem because it adds to the number of hours per
resource by alot. But I am not sure why it is plugging in these extra numbers
and why this is telling me it published. Any ideas?
