Why does some of my text disappear from Powerpoint when printing?

Some text appears on screen and in the print preview but not on the printed
page. I have tried different colours and printing, black and white and
grayscale, but to no avail. Can anyone help/

It shouldn't disappear in color, but for B/W, go to View/Black and White,
then right-click the object and choose Black and White Settings. Choose an
appropriate setting there.
