Why doesn't my Drawing Toolbar give me fill and line colors?

I'm working in Word 2002 (from MS Works 6.0). Am trying to use fill colors
and line colors for a Cloud callout in my document but they don't show up.
What is wrong?

What do you mean by "...they don't show up"? Are the buttons there, but not
usable or are they not on the toolbar at all?

If simply not active, make sure you click the callout to select it first.
That should make the buttons active.

If the buttons are _missing_, go to Tools>Customize-Toolbars, click the name
of the Drawing Toolbar (not the checkbox), then click the Reset button.
