Why is Edit > Links grayed out?

I am working with several presentations that contain movies. As is the norm,
files get shuffled around and I'd like to be able to update these movies in
my presentations all at once. I went to the help menu and was informed of
"Links" under the Edit menu. Well, I'd love to use that, but "Links" is
grayed out and I can't figure out why...Please help!

When an object is grayed out, it means that it is not available for or not
applicable to the selected object. This is the case with Movies and the Edit >
Link option. You need to use an add-in to correct the links, or just delete and
re-insert the movie from its new location.
