Why no map of india??????

3 hours into building a presentation only to find there is no equivalent map
of India that Visio offers for about every other country! Even Nepal is
there. Can anyone help? Thanks.

The governments in the area can't seem to agree on where the countries start
and end. Consequently MS has been told not to show them in their
products.....

Al,
I think its time Visio may a stand on international boundaries. I would
suggest Visio create maps with border that display user-flexable control
handles! , how about some lateral thinking in the house of Vis.

Good idea, but the legal department usually drives these decisions. Rather
than offend a country, the decision was made not to include the countries
with the disputed borders. If they do offend a country the outcome is that
all Microsoft products could be band from that country. Excessive? yes, but
we are talking about lawyers.

Another option proposed in the past was to create a shape for the disputed
areas and mark them as such.
