Nicky,
First off: Print Background doesn't refer to printing your backgrounds - it
instead refers to printing your jobs in the background (i.e. - while other
jobs are running). It is one of the very misleading options within PPT.
Now, about the real problem... How are you trying to print? In color, black
and white, or in grayscale? If you are printing in anything other than
color, the background probably print. Give us a few more details on what you
are trying to do (how you are printing, what printer, what version of PPT)
and we can provide a better answer.
