Will Office 2000 run okay on XP 2002?

I have a contract with a client who prefers that I work
with Office 2000.

My laptop's OS is XP2002 Home Edition SP1 (no Office
installed yet).

If I buy a retail version of Office 2000 (it's still
available online), would I have problems running this
version of Office?

Service Packs from office.microsoft.com.
