windows 7 problems with Outlook 2007

I can't get my contacts into an address book.... keeps telling me to creat
one and when I try it says I can't.... any ideas

Where are you storing your contacts now? Outlook has no address book, it has
Contacts folders.

Did you tell Outlook to use your contacts as an Outlook Address Book? Go
into the properties of your contacts and click on the Address book, you'll
see the box you need to check.
