Windows authentication problem (unable to load login page lgnps.as

I am seeing this problem occuring with one of our user in Project Server.
Most of our users (95%) use Windows authentication. None of them have
problems accessing our project server. One user however when she tries to
connect to Project server (http://servername/projectserver) is not able to
connect. She has tried on 4 different machines and the same problem persists
(that means that ActiveX controls is not the reason). Her windows account is
not locked out or inactive. Other users can connect to project server from
her machine (Project server authentication as well as Windows auth). One
bizzare thing we noticied was that when she tries to connect through
http://servername/projectserver/lgnps.asp she gets a wierd looking screen.
The screen has more or less that same matter and links but does not show up
in fonts like a regular project server login page. The image on left shows up
as X. Look and feel is different. When she tries to connect using project
server authentication (her or even as admin) it fails.

When I changed her windows authentication to Project Server auth, she can
very easily connect from login page when she connect from some other user's
machine who is logged on to the domain.

Have anyone of you seen this problem.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your comments. The user can connect to Development environment
using her windows account. Development is a replica of Production data. This
makes me believe that it is not related to her domain account. Do you think
there is some IIS setting that needs to be checked/unchecked on Production
project server environment. She cannot even connect to http://servername and
not just http://servername/projectserver or to
http://servername/project_subwebs101 and so on.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Hi Gary.

That person is also an administrator. When I synch-ed up the administrator
accounts that fixed the problem. I also synch-ed up users on all the project
subwebs that she owned/belonged to and she can now access the documents.

That is a bizzare solution to the problem at hand.

Thanks,
I-Ali
