Sorry about that but I could not find a group for Windows Mail and went for
the next logical one, Outlook. The groups you listed are for OE as well.

Um, so HOW do you know you cannot send e-mails?

It's the "Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000" you used to post your article.
Yeah, I know, you don't know what that is. All you know is that you used MS
Internet Explorer (probably) to visit the "Microsoft Communities". However,
as a news reader user, accessing these newsgroups via NNTP service, I don't
see you posting through a browser at all, but through some kind of client.

Okay, that said, the layout is logical, but you must have some kind of
inside knowledge of the products to drill down the tree. Start with
"English". Decide which kind of application this is. Alas, it is not an
"Office and Desktop Applicaton", so that should have been ruled out. Most
logical would have been, "MSN and Internet". Less obvious, but correct is,
"Windows". In the "Windows" tree, most obvious is, "Vista". Top of the list
in the "Vista" tree is ... "Windows Mail".

Or, if you wish to be old school, and forget there is this thing called the,
"Web", which requires a, "Web browser", and your Windows Mail client is set
as default, there is this:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail

Or you could just set up a "News" account in Windows Mail, give it,
'msnews.microsoft.com' as the news server. No user name, or password is
required for access. And just start typing your product in the search box:
'Windo'; that should be enough to narrow down the search to the correct
group.

Why not give "Windows Mail" a chance to show you these groups? You may
actually find it easier to navigate than the web view of these newsgroups.

Since Windows Mail runs only on Vista, naturally it will be in the Vista group
tree. microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail
