Windows Media Files in Powerpoint 2000

I have inserted a .wmv as a slide in a presentation. All works well except
that when I click to go to the next slide the video clip starts again! How
do I just get it to go to the next slide when the clip is finished?

What is it you are clicking on, and what are your animation settings?

Clicking left mouse button which noramlly goes to next slide. Custom
Animation, order media 1. Otherwise no settings on other screens.

When you inserted it, did you choose "Play Automatically" or did you choose
"With Mouse Click"?

Are you clicking on the video? Try clicking on the slide, but not on the video,
or use the righ arrow key to advance to the next slide.

Play automatically. Have taken Sonia's advice and it does move on to the
next slide if I use the right arrow key. Many thanks for all your help.
