Windows reconfigures Office 2003 every time I start Access 2003

I have recently upgraded a PC to Win XP Pro and installed Office 2003. Word,
Excel and Outlook work perfectly but, every time I start Access, Windows
Installer starts up and says "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft
Office Professional Edition 2003". Access finally starts OK but this is
irritating and slow.
Any Ideas ?

Perhaps the "upgrade" was not as successful as you thought, and the info
is not being correctly written to the drive. You could try running
chkdsk on the drive, and or create another Admin profile and try the
install from there.
