Need it on my laptop when I travel?

No only the Office suites licenses permit the software to be loaded on a
desktop and a portable. The Windows operating system requires that you
have one license for each computer.

You are only permitted to install one (1) copy of Windows XP
on one (1) computer using the Product Key (license). Additional
installations on different PCs require their own unique Product Key.

Therefore, if you wish to install Windows XP on two (2) PCs,
you need to purchase two (2) individual Windows XP licenses.

Please read your End-User License Agreement by going
to Start > Run and type: WINVER , and hit enter. Then
click on "End-User License Agreement".

If you already have a retail copy of Windows XP, you can obtain
additional licenses for another computer or laptop by visiting the
following Microsoft Web site:

Only if you have a legal copy along with the key. If not then you could get
in a lot of trouble. Though, there is 1 problem with it. The old windowsnxp
professional is now obsolete compared to the new versions of xp. What you
need is the new xp pro. 64. It's the newest and best as well as the most
secure.

I would hardly recommend "xp pro 64" as it NOT more secure, has
considerably less hardware support AND will ONLY install on 64 bit
processors. In other words VERY BAD recommendation.
