I have been having trouble getting the Access wizards to work properly. For
example, when I click on a "Create..." wizard or "Open in design mode"
wizard, nothing happens. At the most, the mouse flashes once or twice. I've
noticed others have had similar problems and I've tried everything that was
suggested (see below for what I've tried). I was hoping someone had some
other ideas.
I'm using Access 2003 on a Windows XP Home sp2 machine. I have Jet 4.0
installed. In my limited estimation of the problem, it seems there may be
something wrong with the Jet installation. Any ideas on how to reinstall it?
Also, I recently went through a complicated 'restore' of Windows which might
have something to do with it.

Allen Browne suggested http://support.microsoft.com/?id=303769, which I have
followed, to no success.
Tom Wickerath and lossm15 discussed the info. in
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=242218, which I have followed, with no
success.
And Randy Balbuena gave some info. regarding the registry setting for Jet
sandbox mode: set to 2 rather than 3. This also has not worked. I noticed
that users "Kim" and "DER" posted here as well with similar problems to mine,
but have received no reply.
