Depends on what applications you have on your computer. Right-click any .wmf,
properties, open with... change. Look at the different options. Windows Picture and
Fax viewer will open .wmf files. They can be inserted into any Office application so
you can view them. www.irfanview.com will open .wmf as well. It is a free viewer. Get the plug-ins too.
we have word 2000 SP3 and get an error trying to import them into word. It
asks what format to convert from and tell it windows metafile aor any other
option gived the error. Woiuld we get this error if they were created from
office 2003 suite?
I got it figured out. the rights to the folder that they were in had been
changed. gave the correct rights back and everything works fine now. Thank
you for your assistance
