won't take my registration key

does anybody know of a free way to email/contact MS to see about getting a
new one? what happened is that i've had to reformat my computer a few times
since i got my office professional and now it won't take it and says it's
invalid when i enter in the key. I need to somehow get a new one w/o having
to buy it again. I looked on their site and it's like $35 just to send an
email. I figure there has to be a free way to go about this.
