Word 2000 and Times New Roman 12?

I have a user that can't type when using the above font. When she tries to
type it overwrites the text so if you typed a sentence it would all be
overwritten in one letter length. If I change the font size it works fine.
Any ideas?

Hi C.,

Are you saying that this is basically piling up letters on top of a single letter?
In some cases Word seems to get 'stuck' unless you refresh the printer driver by switching to another and back in File=>Print.

Also, close Word and use Start=>Search to delete all temp files found with the search string of

~$*.*;*.tmp

Wow, never would have thought of trying that, but changing the printers and
back again worked.
Thanks for your help!
