Word 2000 problem, bug or feature?

Description:

I have 2 files in same directory, info01.doc and info02.doc. Info01.doc has
around 400 Kb, and info02.doc about 20 Kb. Both files have same text
content, except for pictures which are only in the bigger file. If I change
any of them, they both change. If I move or delete bigger file, smaller
won't open anymore. When they are both in same directory, smaller one opens
normaly. One more thing which I discovered. When I open smaller file in the
word and go to file/properties, there's written file name, but from bigger
file, info01.doc. I was thinking, how can this be, is there some feature in
word that i'm not aware of? Those two files are somehow linked, and I am
unable to discover how did that happen. Anyone had similar problem? Help is
apperciated, thank you.

Are you sure info02.doc isn't actually a shortcut for info01.doc? What
is the message you encounter if you move info01.doc and try to open
the other document?

Yes, I am sure that info02.doc is not a shortcut for info01.doc. It has 20
Kb in size, and shortcut's can't be that big. Also, I've checked for file
name at the command prompt, and it says "info02.doc", not lnk or similar.
If I move info01.doc and try to open info02.doc, word opens and says that
file that i'm trying to open cannot be found.

If it isn't a shortcut then another possibility is that Info01.doc is
linked to Info02.doc. A quick way to determine this is to press Alt +
F9 to toggle the field codes and see if there are any IncludeText
fields in the document.

No, it's not linked. I still haven't figured it out. Somewhere in info02.doc
is written that it has to open info01.doc, but it's not linked in the
regular way. No way out of this one I guess. Thanks anyway.
