Word 2000 won't open a new document.

For the past few days, each time I run Word, it opens the
same 'old' document. I cannot get it to open a new blank
document. I ran Detect and Repair, to no avail.

Any suggestions? Should I uninstall and reinstall Word?

Hi Nancy

For what it's worth, uninstalling and reinstalling would not solve this
problem.
