Word 2000 won't save

When I try to save a file in word 2000 I get the error:
WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in module WDMOG.DLL
at 0187:61c05089
Etc.

I have re-istalled Office 2000 but it has not corrected the problem.
Also, I seached the internet and couldnot find any occurance of module
WDMOG.DLL. All other Microsoft applications save files without a
problem. How can we fix this problem so we can use word again?

It is definitely a third party utility that has installed something
incompatible with Word and it would seem it has replaced the Save command.
Search for the dll on your hard drive, right-click and select Properties. If
you check the properties, it make give an indication as to which utility has
installed the dll. Either uninstall it, remove it from Startup or however it
has attached itself to Word.
