Word 2002 - controlling text wrapping

Camilla

Hi,
I want to keep two or more words together on the same
line. At one time it was called a sticky space.
ie Mr. Smith and NOT Mr. <line break>
Smith.
How is this done with Word 2002?
Thanks,
Camilla

Non-breaking Space is the latest jargon. It is Control+Shift+Spacebar.

Insert|Symbol
Switch to the Special Characters tab
You should see Nonbreaking Space
That's the one you want

Note that it also has a keyboard shortcut of Ctrl Shift Spac
