Word 2003 Crashes When Typing Spanish

When I open a new document, switch to Spanish Traditional, and then start
typing, Word crashes - it just closes - no error message of any kind. All
other languages work fine. Any ideas?

Office is patched up, OS is W2k w/sp4 and all patches. Machine is clean (no
viruses, spyware, etc.)

Generally, the issue is corruption of normal.dot, other global templates or
add-ins, or registry entries. Since this is a language issue, I might
suspect a faulty installation. Try Help - Detect and Repair and see if that
sets things right.
