Word 2003 only opens in minimize

I have Office 2003 for Small Bus and XP Home OS. When I try to open the Word
program it appears on the bottom bar as a minimized document but there is no
display of the program or the document (ie document1). This just started. I
have shut down and rebooted but nothing changes. When I click on the bar it
does nothing. Right click allows me to close it. Task Manager says the
program is running.

It is possible that it is opening off screen. Try right-clicking on the
taskbar button after opening and click Move. Try using the left arrow key to
move it back into view.

If Move is greyed out, Restore first, then try the move.
