Word 2003 Reviewing Toolbar

Is there a way to save a document in its final version so
that when sent electronically to someone else, the track
changes version is not able to be seen?

You must turn Track Changes off and Accept All Changes.

Turning Track Changes off, BUT, if I go into the
versions, I can still open a previous document to see the
changes. Do I need to save as a different document and
delete all the versions? Seems like more work than
necessary.

Well, if you're using versioning (which is usually discouraged), then I
don't know the answer.
