Word 2007 - dependant dropdown lists possible?

Roady

Hello:

I would like to create a 2nd drop-down in Word 2007 that is dependent on the
selection made in the 1st dropdown. I am new to using the Controls/Developer
tab and I wondering if you tell me how I could create the following:

Drop down #1:
Fruits
Vegetables
Meats
Grains

then, drop down #2 would auto-populate/limit choices based on #1 - for
example, if you chose Vegetables, it might give you the following options:
Broccoli
Carrots
Squash
Green Beans

Thanks! Jen

It is fairly straight forward using the legacy formfields from previous
versions of Word. Using the new contentcontrols is a significantly more
complicated case due to a long standing "bug" in the CC OnExit event. It
can be done but requires your DD 1 to be mapped to the XML data store. If
you contact me via e-mail or my website feedback link I will send you an
example file.
