Word 2007

I have Office 2007 home and student edition. I have successfully it on my 32
bit Vista Premium edition computer. Every time I open a Word document, the
app goes through a configure process that takes one to two minutes. The
documents I open are .docx documents. Why is this happening and how can I fix
it?
